Good afternoon people!
Well, this is my third blog created via blogger and is strictly for college assignments use purposes only.LOL
So, what do I know about cybersociey and communication? Hmm, I guess its not that hard to define. But my definition of c&c is that a two-way or more communication that happens in the cyberworld/society? and that its simply virtual? Haha. That's my very own definition la.
As we can see, everyone (at least that's what I think) on the planet now has a facebook, myspace, friendster (used to), twitter, a blog, msn messenger and an email of course, without an email you wouldn't have all the above.
And of all that I've mentioned above, are all part of the communication tool that we people have been using widely in the era nowadays (at least the younger generations) If you do not have at least one of the above, then may I ask are you even alive?
The communication that happens in the cyberworld can be very challenging at times or may I say, scary. Challenging in the sense of the abbreviation used, the way you communicate, and the way your messages are being typed out, and it can be very tricky because you cannot judge the "real" person by just what they are in the cyberworld. Scary in the sense of the comments you get from anonymous people pointing fingers at you and judging you purely based on what and how they see you in the virtual world.
I guess that is all about what I gotta say based on my current understanding about cyebersociety & communication. More to come because it is now a subject that I am taking and am gonna learn more about it, and I will come back here to blog with a much better understanding.
